Knowledge is a wonderful thing. People go to school for years to attain knowledge for thousands of different subjects. No subject is more important than that of eternity. We all will spend eternity in either Heaven or Hell.
The Bible teaches us that we can attain the knowledge that we will spend eternity in Heaven.

Having a church home in which you are faithful to the public services is wonderful. Giving God your time with
good works is also noble. However, there is nothing about being religious that will earn you one second of
eternity with God in Heaven. Please follow the following four steps to come to the saving knowledge
of eternity in Heaven.

Step 1 - Everyone is a sinner

There are no perfect people. Romans 3:10 says, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one." The
reason no one is righteous is found in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Even if you had only sinned once in your entire life, you would still be a sinner.

Step 2 - Payment must be made for your sins

If you have a job, you are paid wages. Your wage is the price for which you work. In Romans 6:23a God
says, "For the wages of sin is death;" This death is described in the Bible as the second death, the lake of
fire. "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found
written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:14-15. If you pay for your own sin, you
will die and go to Hell where you will be tormented eternally.

Step 3 - Jesus Christ died to pay for your sins

Without God's love we would be lost forever. Romans 5:8 says, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in
that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." The price for our sins was paid by Jesus Christ when He
died on the cross! He took our sins upon Himself and shed His blood to pay for the wrong which we had done.
He suffered in our place because of how much he loved us.

Step 4 - Accept, by faith, God's free gift of eternal life

Many people know about the death of Jesus on the cross, but they have never accepted what Christ did as
payment for their sins. God's gift to us is eternal life. Romans 6:23b says, "but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord." A gift cannot be purchased or earned; it can only be received. Would you
be willing to accept the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ as payment for your sins? According to the
Bible, it is a decision made from your heart and confessed with your mouth. Romans 10:9,10, & 13 says,
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised
him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the
mouth confession is made unto salvation.", "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
If you believe what God has said about eternal life and you are willing to receive Christ as your personal Savior,
please pray this simple prayer:

"Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I deserve to go to Hell. I do believe You
died for me, and today I trust you as my personal Savior. Please forgive me of my sins
and save me from Hell. Thank you for giving me eternal life, Amen."
