About Us

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error, and fully trustworthy. God has

preserved His Word for us, and it is our final authority for faith and practice. We believe the

Bible is God’s complete revelation to mankind and should be interpreted according to its plain

and intended meaning. Because the Holy Spirit inspired Scripture, He also helps believers

understand and apply it. Because of its textual reliability, and for the sake of unity, we only use

the King James Version in our teaching and preaching. (I Corinthians 2:9-16; II Timothy 3:16-

17; II Peter 1:19-21)

We believe there is one true and living God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are equal in deity, power, and glory and work together in perfect unity.

God the Father loves mankind, hears and answers prayer, and offers salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became man through the virgin birth without ceasing to be God. He died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and now intercedes for believers. We believe He will return personally and visibly for His church and will one day establish His kingdom.

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts people of sin, regenerates and indwells every believer, seals them unto the day of redemption, and guides them into truth through God's Word. (Genesis 1:26; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 1:18-23; John 1:1, 14; 3:16-17; 16:8-13; Acts 1:9-11; 5:3-4; Romans 8:9; I Corinthians 12:12-14; Ephesians 1:13-14; 5:18; I Thessalonians 4:16-17)

We believe God created the heavens, the earth, and all living things as recorded in Genesis. We believe mankind was created directly in God's image and did not evolve from lower life forms. We believe creation took place in six literal, twenty-four-hour days and that the Genesis account is a historical record of God's work. (Genesis 1:1, 11, 24, 26-27; 2:21-25; Exodus 20:11; Colossians 1:16-17; Hebrews 11:3; Revelation 10:6)

We believe that Satan was originally created holy but fell because of pride and rebellion against God. He is the enemy of God and mankind, the deceiver of the world, and the leader of the forces of darkness. Though active in the world today, his power is limited by God's authority. We believe Satan will ultimately be defeated by Jesus Christ and eternally judged in the Lake of Fire. (Job 1:6-12; Isaiah 14:12-16; Ezekiel 28:1-19; John 8:44; Ephesians 2:2; II Thessalonians 2:3-10; Revelation 20:10)

We believe that man was created in holiness, under the law of his Maker, but, by voluntary transgression, fell from that holy and happy state, in consequence of which all mankind are now sinners, not by constraint, but choice; being by nature utterly void of that holiness required by law of God, positively inclined to evil; and therefore under just condemnation to eternal ruin, without defense or excuse. (Genesis 1:27; Genesis 3:6-24; Romans 5:19; Isaiah 53:6; Ephesians 2:1-3; Ezekiel 18:19, 20)

We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, offered to all people by His grace. Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God, became man, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again to provide complete forgiveness and eternal life for all who place their faith in Him. Salvation is by grace through faith alone and cannot be earned by works. We believe that all who trust in Christ are eternally secure in Him. (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; 10:28-29; Philippians 2:6-7; Isaiah 53:4-5; Hebrews 7:25; I John 2:2; I Timothy 2:4-6)

We believe that the body and bride of Christ, are made up of all who have trusted Jesus Christ as

Savior. God has established local churches for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and the spread

of the Gospel. We believe the two ordinances given to the church are baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Baptism by immersion follows salvation and publicly identifies a believer with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. The Lord’s Supper is a memorial of Christ’s sacrifice and is observed by believers in remembrance of Him.

We gather for worship on the Lord’s Day and seek to fulfill Christ’s command to take the Gospel to the world. We believe the sign gifts served a unique purpose in the apostolic era and are not practiced as normative gifts for the church today. We also believe God continues to work through His people and answers prayer according to His will. We believe that when a believer dies, he is immediately in the presence of the Lord, awaiting the resurrection and glorification of the body. Unbelievers remain in conscious judgment until the final judgment, after which they will be cast into the Lake of Fire for everlasting punishment.

We believe Jesus Christ will return for His church before the Tribulation. Following this time of judgment on the earth, Christ will return to establish His literal millennial kingdom and reign on the earth. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people—the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to eternal judgment.
